Easter with Chad

It was a great Easter Sunday at the Eckenrode house!
Nothing beats a reminder that the Lord has risen for us! (plus the added bonuses of Chad here for a visit and the return of Facebook)

A weekend full of Hendricks

It has been about 6 months since I have had a chance to mosy over to the Leigh Valley to see one of my closest friends and her family. This past weekend I got to do just that! (and boy I don't want to have to wait that long to see them again)
Maddy and I arrived on Friday night and we were blown away by hugs, love, and amazement of how much Olivia and Anna have grown

Saturday was filled with shopping (my mom came down into the area for our traditional Easter swimming suit shopping for Maddy: which FYI we found @ the 1st store - Kohls and the 1st suit she tried on!! That is totally some kind of RECORD!!), a super delicious meal of loaded nachos & tacos, plus hanging out (we played Skipbo & Apples to Apples)

I introduced Rob to a new hot sauce :-)

On Sunday we went to church with them then had a delicious lunch before we had to hit the road and go home. Overall, the weekend was amazing and it was so wonderful to catch up with them all and spend time together. As usual, I wish the weekend would not have gone by so fast!
