Meet Miss Olive

If you have been seeing on facebook for the past two months, our family was expecting a new addition to our family in the middle of March: a new "furry baby" to add to our pack (to be specific a chocolate lab)

Miss Olive (also known for about two weeks as Britain, which was then later changed) was born on January 15th to a dear friend's family down in Chambersburg. She is one of a litter of 7 puppies and was destined to be ours (the only female chocolate in the litter)

Olive is on the side closest to us, in the middle of the pack

We had the greatest pleasure of going to visit her in the following weeks (once she opened her eyes and we were able to hold her)

Miss Olive (2 1/2 weeks old)

She was growing so fast and we couldn't wait to bring her home. The big day came on Saturday, March 9th to a hesitant big sister Rocca (who has impressed us all very much with how great she truly is being with her)

We have now had her two weeks and while it is a slow process adjusting to a new puppy in the house again (not sleeping through the night, bathroom breaks every 15 minutes, etc....) overall, we are blown away by how fantastic she is doing!! She has very few accidents in the house, she does very little crying through the night when she has to sleep in her kennel (in fact, half the time she is already asleep in her kennel when it is time to put her in there for work, bed, etc...)

Needless to say we are so happy to have another addition to our family and we would for you to come over and meet her too :-) She needs all the socializng she can get! (hehe)
